Rev. Mrs. Alice Ngozi Alegu
The Rev. Mrs. Alice Ngozi Alegu is a senior lecturer and the HoD of the Department of Missions and Intercultural Studies in Assemblies of God Divinity School (AGDSN). I was born on 20th July, 1964 in Nufu Alike in Ikwo L.G.A of Ebonyi State. As a Levite, she has been in the ministry with her parents from the first day of her birth, and she officially joined full time pastoral ministry when she got married to Pastor John Nte Alegu as he was known and called then. Rev. Mrs. Alice obtained a Diploma in Bible and Theology from the Eastern Bible College, Ogoja, Cross River State, Nigeria in 1990, got her B.A Degree in Missions and Communication from Assemblies of God Divinity of Nigeria (AGDSN) in 1999 and her Master’s Degree in Missions and Communication from Evangel Theological Seminary (ETS) Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria where she later served as an adjunct lecturer in 2001. In 2004, Rev. Mrs. Alice was appointed full time Seminary lecturer and was subsequently promoted to serve as Head of Department (HoD) of Missions and Intercultural Studies in Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS), Port Harcourt, Rivers State in 2010. Her quest for academic excellence led to her co-authoring of four academic and inspirational books. She has also demonstrated academic prowess via academic project supervision of diploma, undergraduate projects which qualified the beneficiaries to soar in their academic and ministerial pinnacle. Rev. Mrs. Alegu is currently serving with her husband in AGDSN, their alma mater.
